Koda's birthday party with the Jones family.

Koda's birthday party is solely based on these cupcakes.  We saw them in the Family Fun magazine and that's all he's been wanting for his cake for his birthday.  So, it was way easy to have a Christmas themed birthday since he was born in December.

We celebrated Koda's birthday and my sister Ginger's birthday tonight also.
Happy Birthday Ginger and Koda!  We love you both!

We made reindeer cupcakes for Koda and a yummy chocolate cake with crushed candy canes on top for Ginger's cake.  Who said it's awful to have a birthday in December. We found some pluses...
1. Fun Christmas themes
2. Candy cane cakes
3. Christmas decorations for party decor.
4. Having a family member to share it with.

Koda was excited to get a flashlight from Nanny.  He LOVES flashlights!

And Aunt Ginger and Uncle Bill and the kids got him a Toy Story 3 Yahtzee game.
That should be way fun to play!
Thanks everyone for the gifts and for coming to celebrate!

After wards we went to the Layton City Christmas lights.  Every year they do such a good job and what's even better is you can drive in your nice warm car to see them.
Here are some of the boys' favorite lights.

What better way to start Christmas than with focusing on Christ's birth as the true meaning of Christmas.

Happy Birthday Koda and Aunt Ginger!
