My family is proud of hunting and love to hunt!
Therefore I post pictures of it. If you don't agree with a man going hunting to fill his freezer DON'T READ THIS POST!!!
Yesterday Jeromy, Brent and Terrence got to go on a guided Elk hunt up by Evanston.
Jeromy's elk after gutting it ended up weighing 375lb.
Terrence's elk weighed 275lb
And Brent's weighed in at 125lb.
It's a good thing our freezer is pretty empty. That's a BIG cow elk Jeromy shot.
The Man!
When we got to Jeromy's parents house the boys were so excited to see what dad had got. They've been taught that we hunt for food and that God has put these animals on the planet for us to eat, so they weren't grossed out at all by the sight of a dead Elk or blood.
Justin and Koda wanted to help get the Elk hung like the big boys do.

Unlike dear I will actually eat Elk. It tastes pretty close to beef which is good because to me deer tastes like sage brush.
