I love this picture because it was the only picture I got of him waving and of his whole face. He was excited to see me but tried to keep it cool at the same time.
They asked the kids to dress up like someone from one of your favorite books. Justin really wanted to be Optimus Prime for Halloween so I found a book that he could take so he could still dress up like Optimus.
He was the second kid in line so by the time I made it past all the parents I could only get a picture of his back or him trying to pay attention to where he was walking and what he was doing.
They have a saying in this school that goes like this...
Teacher: One, Two eyes on me
Class: One, Two eyes on you
This is a picture of him doing that. I didn't mean to take it when they did that, my camera was being slow but it was a fun one of him at his desk at school.
This is his classroom and everyone looking at their loot.
Justin got some vampire teeth in his bag so he thought it would be funny if Optimus Prime turned into a Transformer vampire. What a mix. Silly Justin!
Halloween class picture.
It was exciting for me to be asked to help his teacher that day and get to be the official photographer for the class picture. Of course I used Mrs. Adorno's camera for the best picture. This is the picture I took and it was after all the kids held still for all the parents taking pictures. I felt special and it was a lot of fun. I can't wait to do it again 3 more times with the other boys when they are in kindergarten.
Oh, I just want to put a plug in here about how well he's doing in school. When I went to his first parent teacher conference she told me that he was one of the smartest kids in class. He scored higher than anyone else did on most of the testing they did and is doing excellent in math. By the way, they are doing ALL first grade curriculum. What an amazing child I have! I knew he was smart but to have it confirmed by a teacher makes it even better.
Ok, now that my head is in the clouds I'll get back to earth.
I'm so glad you had fun My little man and I can't wait for your next adventure and activity in school. I'm so glad I get to share these precious moments with you and I love you so much! Your such a wonderful son and I couldn't have asked for a better one.
Love you!
