God made dirt... and dirt don't hurt

It seems to me that boys and dirt go hand in hand and dirt outside always ends up in my house because of this reason.  Owell, at least they will have some great memories, right?
A couple days ago the boys seemed pretty quiet and when I went looking for them this is what I saw.  They really do play well together when they are playing in the dirt. I just wish they didn't play in this area right by the door.
About a year ago Anza dug this huge hole and the boys thought it would be fun to keep it going.  We've tried filling it in and seeding over the top.  Ha Ha!  We tried filling it in and putting sod over the top.  That worked for about a week until it rained and the dog dug in it again.  It seems the only way to get the boys and the dog to stop digging in the dirt is to cement it.
You can't see it right now but there's supposed to be a sprinkler in there somewhere.  That is the only reason we haven't cemented this spot.  We hope we can grow grass in this area again someday.
This has been the official Monster Truck raceway.  They've buried treasure and stuffed animals and trucks and cars in this hole.  They've made mud bogs for cars and trucks and had loads of fun just trying to dig to China.
OH MY BOYS!
Well, you know the saying, God made dirt and dirt don't hurt, right?  Thanks goodness for baths!
