Yesterday was Justin's 6th brithday and since his school won't allow treats we thought it would be fun and educational to have Jeromy come do a K-9 demo for the kindergarteners.
The teacher in the skirt is Justin's teacher Mrs. Adorno. She was very excited to have Jeromy come do a demo. The teacher in the pants, Mrs. Todd, her husband is a K-9 officer and knows all about the life of having a K-9. Her husbands K-9 was shot and killed protecting her husband on duty. They then got another K-9 and it turned out to be blind. How they let that happen I will never know. They finally have another K-9 and it's working out just fine but I can't believe all the heartache they've been through.
All the kids got to come and pet Turo if they wanted to. Justin got to pet his own dog and was so proud to have Turo and his daddy at his school.
You can tell he was loving yesterday!
Since yesterday was his birthday he got to wear a special birthday hat.
This is Isaac, Justin's buddy in school. They play every day at recess time.
I had a 10 minute video of Jeromy's demo but I guess it was too long to download so these pictures are all we get for right now.
Mrs. Adorno told Jeromy that the kids played Cops and K9 dogs at recess yesterday beacuse of the demo.
How cute is that! I'm glad you had a great birthday, day my cute little man! I'm so glad that Heavenly Father sent you to us and I love you very much!
