For our Friday night movie night we went to the Drive-in for the opening night of Cars 2.
The boys were so excited that they had earned enough money to go see the movie and eat out.
I'm pretty proud of them, too for doing enough chores to earn their ticket.

Burger Bar!!!
Another thing the boys earned money for was their candy and treats.
They each were allowed to spend $2 on their treats and they got to pick where they wanted to buy treats from. They all agreed to go to Winco and buy gummy worms and whatever they thought looked good.
I love Winco's barrel section. They have so many choices of candy and for cheap.
They ended up with 2 good size candy bags except for Koda. He wanted to split some of his candy choices up so he was able to get 3 bags. All of them spend under $2 and each got some change back to put towards savings later.
We have some pretty smart boys if I do say so myself! Jeromy and I were so proud of them working hard to earn their tickets and candy and then making such wise decisions on what candy to get and the best way to get it.
Way to go boys!
It took us a bit to figure out how to set things up in the excursion for all of us to be comfortable but we did it.
This is the first time we've taken the excursion to the Drive-in and I loved it. There was enough room for a family of 6 to spread out and enjoy the night. Did I mention how much I LOVE my excursion?
While we waited for the Movie to start we all watched... Chipmunks!!
I totally thought that we had the Cars movie in the DVD case but apparently NOT.
So we watched the next biggest hit in our house... Chipmunks.
Finally when the movie started Brekyn had gone to sleep and parking for our movie screen was totally packed. There was not one place to park. I'd never seen it so full! It's a good thing we got there on time.
Cars 2 was such a cute movie I can't wait till it comes out on DVD.
Justin kept saying, "Dad, is that what you get to do?"
If we ever get to that point we may never know.
After Cars was over it was time for Pirates (second movie).
If you've never seen it before I'll just say this...
I will never look at a mermaid the same way again. No wonder I'm not much of an Ariel fan.
All in all it was THE best drive-in movie night ever. No one got sick and we all had room to move.
It also helps that the boys are getting older and can do things for themselves, too.
It was a very fun night, thanks boys for earning your movie. I'm so proud of all of you!
