This year the Easter Bunny brought the boys some fun things.
He brought them kid sized camping chairs, kites, baby bunnies and CANDY!
After church we went to Uncle Vaughn's to have dinner with my family and celebrate mine and Bill's birthdays. I also thought it would be fun to make an Easter pinata for all of the kids. But since my nephews and nieces are older and my kids are the youngest I had to try and make it Nephew and Niece proof. My original thought was to layer on the newspaper as much as possible and see if I could make it hold up that way, but since we've had a lot of showings on our house and due to me having no time to focus on what I had promised, I had to come up with another way to make it "BIG kid proof".
DUCK TAPE!!!!!
A mans house is never without it!
So, I tried to cleverly hide the tape but when you do something as cool as a pinata in front of a 6 year old the word gets out pretty quick. Thanks Justin!
The Mother Load!
I had filled the pinata to the top with candy and candy filled eggs. Lets just say the eggs didn't survive from playing baseball with the pinata.
We all had fun watching the kids hit it, but my small dreams were crushed as my nephews busted it open.
Next time It will be for sure Nephew proof! Bwahahaha!!!!
After all that fun it was time for...
The Go Cart!
Oh what fun we have!
Happy Birthday Bill!
Vaughn, Jeanene, and Chelsea made us our own special chocolate cakes.
My candles look like I want to be 13 again but from my view it says 31. I really don't want to be that young again, just 29 and holding through my 30's.
It was a very fun Easter holiday and what makes it even more special is spending it with family and my hunk of man. Jeromy was able to start work at 10pm that night instead of 6pm.
I'm very grateful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the sacrifice he made for us on the cross that day. He suffered and died for us so that we will be with him again someday.
Happy Easter everyone!
