Meet the newest Jackson

Since Anza went to "doggy heaven" we decided that it would make the situation easier if we got a new puppy and then the boys wouldn't miss Anza as much. Wow! It's been a transition. We haven't had to deal with the puppy stage for at least 8 or 9 years. Since we've gotten our new pup she's chewed up at least 15 toys and 5 bottle nipples and gone potty in the house a few times and 1 book. On the positive side at least I was done reading the book. Well, I guess I should mention what kind of dog and her name, huh! We got a labradoodle. She is half chocolate lab and half standard party poodle (black and white poodle). She will shed very little to none at all and should have the great temperment of both dogs toward kids. So far she doesn't shed at all and I'm loving it! She will get as big as a a lab and should only weight around 60 pounds, which is a ton less than Anza weighed.

She's been fun for the kids to play with and chase around. What's funny is the boys tire her out instead of the other way around. We named her Lily. For some reason I thought the name Lily would be cute for a girl dog so that's what it is. I hope she turns out as good and kid friendly as Anza. She's very sweet and has a ton of personality. Welcome to the family Lily!
